Assays

Choose an appropriate assay when measuring Factor VIII activity of Jivi1,7

  • CS assays are recommended to measure the plasma Factor VIII activity levels of Jivi1
  • Laboratories intending to measure the Factor VIII activity of Jivi should check their procedures for accuracy1,7
  • For modified long-acting Factor VIII products, it is known that the results of OS assays are dependent on the reference standard and aPTT reagent used, resulting in a possible over- or under-estimation of Factor VIII activity1
